Privacy policy
This policy explains what information Hostiva Picks (https://picks.hostiva.co.in), operated by Hostiva Solutions, collects and how it is used. We collect as little as possible.
What we collect
- Product link clicks. When you click a "Check price" or "View on store" button, we record the product, the time, whether you used a mobile or desktop browser, and the page you came from. We store a one-way hashed version of your IP address combined with the date, used only to avoid counting the same click twice. We cannot recover your IP address from it.
- Contact form. If you send us a message, we store your name, email address and message so we can reply.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting.
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
Cookies
This site sets a single session cookie, needed for the contact form's spam protection and for the admin area. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this site.
When you click through to Amazon.in or another store, that store may set its own cookies, including affiliate cookies that tell the store you arrived from Hostiva Picks. Those cookies are governed by the store's own privacy policy, for example Amazon.in's Privacy Notice.
Affiliate links
Hostiva Picks is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. Amazon may use cookies to track purchases made after you click our links. See our affiliate disclosure.
Third-party services
Pages load fonts from Google Fonts. Product images may be loaded from the store's servers. These services may receive your IP address when your browser requests those files.
How long we keep data
Click records are kept for up to 24 months for statistics. Contact messages are kept until the conversation is finished and then deleted within 12 months.
Your choices
You can ask us to delete any message you have sent us, or ask what information we hold about you, by emailing support@hostiva.co.in.
Children
This site is intended for adult shoppers and does not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
